Summary -Inheritance is the fourth and final book in the Inheritance Cycle series. It is about the Varden’s final stand against the Empire. In this book the Varden march against the Empire. This is do or die for them. In the end the fight will come down to Eragon versus Galbatorix. This is a despite fight because Galbatorix is much stronger than Eragon. Eragon is desperate to find new power so that he stands a chance in this fight. He journeys to a faraway island in search of this mythical power. It is here that he gains new strength and has hope to win the battle. The Varden then begin their siege on Galbatorix’s city. When the battle begins it looks bad for the Varden, yet they prevail. Eragon beats Galbatorix and the Varden crush the Empire. Peace then ensues.
